	Aritika is not well known, and seems to lack any tourist facilities, but is well worth a visit. There is not much of a village, the locals living all over the place.  Current population is not much over 100, although it was 2000 prior to the collapse of the pearl market at the end of the 20th century. The highways are excellent, as Peter is demonstrating.
	There is a steep  drop-off into the bottomless blue and the end of the East Pass. When we swam over it, sharks came spiraling up to look at us , but did not approach closely.
Diving was by far the major attraction for us, particularly drifting through the twisting East Pas
