We had an easy overnight sail to Tahanea, remarkable only because there was a total lunar eclipse that night, which we were perfectly located to watch.
It was a total surprise, because we had not paid attention to the media.
Attempts at photographing the eclipse from our moving boat were a flop, but we did have nice moonlight in the anchorage on subsequent nights.
We have had Starlink on Milvina for a couple of years, which provides excellent Internet access from anywhere, including open ocean and areas like French Polynesia where the locals are prohibited from buying it.
It is a game changer for communications, allowing free phone calls via WhatsApp, messenger etc. to anywhere in the world.
Tahanea is a park, so is uninhabited.

This shot is from the masthead in the SE anchorage.  A few bommies are visible on the sandy water
We found that the best diving was in the passes, so we dinghied out a few times and drifted back in on a rising tide
