	We came home in early March, since Alec was due to put in an appearance.  All went well and Elise decided that a baby brother was just fine, although she had previously wanted a sister. Although not quite three, Elise started skiing.  Equipment for kids today is way better than when Michael and Derek were that age
	We kept Gracie for a week or two while Alec was settling in, and had some good walks, including this one on the East side of Quadra. When she returned home, she was quite pleased to meet Alec.
	Although there was snow for skiing up high, Spring flowers were out.  These daffodils were a surprise, in the woods far from houses.
	Snow at home is rare in March, but the Orcas come visiting.  Rules say to stay 300 metres away, but they don't obey, and came to our stern.

	Derek's rugby team won the division cup for 2024.  The club's girls team won also.
