2023    Tahuata and Hiva Oa

	From Fatu Hiva we sailed the 40 miles to these two islands where we spent a while snorkeling, hiking and finally laying Milvina up in the excellent little boatyard on Hiva Oa
	Carvers and sculpters abound, producing traditional designs
	Copra is harvested, quite intensively in some places, and dried in beds like those, which are equipped with rolling roofs to control the degree of drying.
	In many places we saw evidence of ancient trails, built with considerable skill and labour.  Some are maintained.
