Michael 2009

Michael spent all of 2009 in Vancouver, attending law school at the University of British Columbia, and working for the Braidwood Commission in the summer.

The commission hit the headlines frequently in Canada during much of 2009.  Michael cannot talk about much of his work, but it was certainly an interesting experience.

He also played rugby for the Law School team and the
UBC ruby club

Michael says that law school is hard work, but a look at http://www.law.ubc.ca/orientation/extra_curricular/social.html shows that they know how to have fun too.

He also writes on the UBC web site about rugby etc.   I am occasionally surprised about what turns up when I Google him, (It is necessary to narrow the search to avoid several other Michael McCubbin's known to Google.

One great advantage in attending UBC is the proximity of Whistler, and the low price for a student ski-pass.

Michael profits for this, when he has time.

He also skied near Canmore with the family again in 2009.
